Our family purchased a service station with a small convenience store attached, in Pasadena, TX in the early 1990’s. We were going to school at the time studying computer science. We wrote a program for us to use to interface with our cash register. We started telling our friends and fellow convenience store owners about it, and we decided to turn it into another business. Necessity truly is the mother of invention! The rest is history. We now have convenience stores all over the United States that are satisfied clients of Scanning Solutions. We originally designed software to suit our needs. Come to find out, it suits every C-Store owners’ needs as well.
Scanning Solutions developed this software to allow c-store owners to manage their price book. Convenience store owners can manage inventory, fuel inventory, margins and interface with popular accounting software such as Quick Books, Great Plains, MAS90 & MAS200. C-Store point of sale systems are not equipped to handle these tasks efficiently. In fact, most POS Systems are not designed for inventory management and accounting interface. The software of Scanning Solutions can interface with Gilbarco Passport, VeriFone POS systems, Comdata SmartDesq, and NCR.
